DEMAND A TOWN HALL MEETING IN YOUR COMMUNITY!
In 2009, UnCommon Law teamed up with other prisoner advocates to conduct "town hall" meetings in San Francisco, Los Angeles (Watts), Fresno and Bakersfield to answer questions and provide important information to assist people in the community in their efforts to help Lifers and other loved ones in prison. These events were a huge success and we look forward to many more in the future. We provide this service free of charge. If you are involved in a group of people advocating for prisoners, please invite us to meet with you soon. With recent changes in the law and in the Board's practices, prisoners and their supporters really need to know everything they can do to make the right presentation at their hearings.

Here is the agreement we reached with attorneys for the Board, along with the letter we sent out to several hundred prisoners explaining the relief they will get.
